Founded in 1814, The West Boylston Company was a large textile manufacturer in West Boylston, MA. At the turn of the century the company faced a crisis: the site of their mill would be flooded to form the Wachusett Reservoir. Instead of abandoning the mill, the company dismantled it brick by brick and shipped it to its new home in Easthampton, where it was rebuilt on the banks of the Lower Mill Pond. Now, a century later, The Boylston Rooms retains the integrity of the 1814 original mill in every brick and beam. Our rental includes planners and decor at no added cost. Nestled among historic homes and cobblestone streets in New Bedford, Massachusetts, the Whaling Museum offers a distinctive venue for any special occasion. We are situated in the southern Massachusetts and Rhode Island area, approximately one hour from Boston, 20 minutes from Providence, 45 minutes from Newport and one hour from Cape Cod. Our working family farm provides a picturesque background to your event of any kind. We host weddings, bridal and baby showers, corporate and private events.

We have two banquet rooms. The larger of the two, the Berkshire room, has a capacity of 100-350 (minimum of 150 on a Saturday and 100 on any other day of the week). The smaller of the two, the Westfield room, has a capacity of 50-150 people (minimum of 100 people on a Saturday and 50 any other day of the week). We also have a beautiful outdoor ceremony space with the option to host an inside ceremony as well.
